Day 1

Arrival at KLIA – Transfer to Kuala Lumpur Hotel

Your Malaysia tour begins as soon as you arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). After completing immigration and customs, a friendly GujjuTours representative will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall with a name board. They’ll welcome you, assist with your luggage, and make sure your transfer to the hotel is smooth and hassle-free.

Your representative will then escort you to your private vehicle for a comfortable transfer to your Kuala Lumpur hotel, such as Arenaa Star Hotel or a similar property. Once you check in, take some time to freshen up and relax after your journey. If you’re up for it, you can step out in the evening to explore the nearby streets, try some delicious Malaysian street food, or simply soak in Kuala Lumpur’s lively atmosphere. Otherwise, enjoy a relaxed evening at the hotel and get a good night’s rest before tomorrow’s sightseeing adventure.

Day 2

Half Day Kuala Lumpur City Tour

Day 2 begins comfortably with breakfast at your hotel. At 10:00 AM, your private vehicle and local guide depart for a half day Kuala Lumpur City Tour — a curated introduction to the most iconic landmarks of Malaysia's glittering, multicultural capital city.

King's Palace (Istana Negara)

Your first stop is the imposing Istana Negara — the official royal residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Malaysia's ceremonial King. Set behind grand ceremonial gates on a prominent hilltop, the palace is surrounded by manicured gardens and flanked by the Malaysian Royal Guard. The palace exterior is a striking combination of traditional Malay architecture and modern scale — gilded domes, sweeping rooflines, and ceremonial grandeur. Photography of the exterior and gates is permitted from the designated viewing area. The changing of the Royal Guard ceremony takes place at the palace on the first Saturday of each month and is an impressive spectacle if your visit coincides.

National Monument (Tugu Negara)

A short drive from the palace brings you to the National Monument — Malaysia's most significant war memorial, set within a beautifully landscaped park beside the National Lake Gardens (Perdana Botanical Garden). The central sculpture group — seven cast-bronze figures modelled on Washington's famous Iwo Jima Memorial — was sculpted by Felix de Weldon, the same artist behind the US Marine Corps War Memorial, and was unveiled in 1966. The monument commemorates the soldiers and civilians who died in defence of Malaysia during the post-World War II Communist insurgency known as the Malayan Emergency (1948–1960). The park surrounding the monument is a peaceful green escape in the heart of the city, with a reflective pool and well-maintained tropical gardens.

Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka)

Independence Square — known in Malay as Dataran Merdeka — is the symbolic and historic heart of Kuala Lumpur. This is the exact spot where Malaysia's Union Jack was lowered and the Jalur Gemilang raised at midnight on 31 August 1957, marking the moment of independence from British rule. The square is framed by some of KL's most architecturally striking buildings: the elaborate Moorish-style Sultan Abdul Samad Building (now housing the Court of Appeal), the Tudor-style Royal Selangor Club, and the Gothic revival St. Mary's Cathedral. The square itself is dominated by the world's tallest flagpole — flying a massive Malaysian flag — and the flat, manicured grass field where Malaysia's National Day parade is held every 31 August. A must-visit for any traveller wanting to understand the soul of modern Malaysia.

Chocolate Wholesale Shop

A popular and enjoyable stop included in the Kuala Lumpur City Tour — a locally based chocolate and confectionery wholesale outlet carrying a wide range of Malaysian-made chocolates, local snacks, dried fruits, and food souvenirs at wholesale prices. A particular favourite for families with children and for group travellers looking to bring home sweet gifts. Take your time browsing and pick up your Malaysia food souvenirs before continuing the tour.

KLCC Petronas Twin Tower Photo Stop

The highlight of Day 2’s city tour is a photo stop at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur’s most recognisable landmark. Take in the impressive 88-storey towers, known for their striking steel-and-glass design and Islamic-inspired architecture. From KLCC Park, you can enjoy beautiful views of the towers and capture some memorable photographs.

After the city tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore Kuala Lumpur at your own pace — enjoy local and international cuisine, browse the lively night markets, or head to the popular Bukit Bintang area for shopping and entertainment.

Day 3

Full Day Genting Highlands Tour + Batu Caves

Day 3 is the adventure highlight of your Malaysia package — a full day journey from the tropical heat of Kuala Lumpur up into the cool mountain air of Genting Highlands, with a visit to the extraordinary Batu Caves en route.

Batu Caves — En Route to Genting

Departing the hotel at 09:30 AM, your first stop is the unmissable Batu Caves — a cluster of ancient limestone hills located just 13km north of Kuala Lumpur, containing a series of cave temples that are among the most impressive and photographed Hindu shrines in the entire world outside India. The main Cathedral Cave is reached by climbing the iconic 272 steps — each painted in a different vivid colour — that ascend past the colossal 42.7-metre golden statue of Lord Murugan (the second-tallest statue of a deity in the world), the son of Lord Shiva, who presides over the cave complex. Inside the Cathedral Cave, shafts of natural light pour down through the cave ceiling into an enormous cavern containing several shrines dedicated to Lord Murugan, with resident langur monkeys and macaques adding to the extraordinarily atmospheric experience. The caves are a living place of active Hindu worship — devout pilgrims make the climb daily — and during the Thaipusam festival (January–February), over a million devotees ascend to the cave to offer prayers in one of the world's most spectacular religious events.

Genting Highlands — Malaysia's City of Entertainment

From Batu Caves, your vehicle continues north and then climbs into the Titiwangsa Mountains for the ascent to Genting Highlands — Malaysia's most visited tourist destination, located 51km north of Kuala Lumpur at an elevation of 1,800 metres above sea level. The cooler mountain air (averaging 18–25°C year round, compared to KL's 30°C+) is immediately refreshing after the tropical city heat below.

One-Way Cable Car Ride

The Genting Skyway cable car ride — one of the fastest and longest gondola cable car systems in Southeast Asia — takes you on a spectacular aerial ascent over the lush Malaysian rainforest canopy, climbing through the mist and treetops for approximately 11 minutes before arriving at the Genting resort at the summit. The views over the unbroken green forest below are breathtaking — particularly beautiful on days when morning mist drifts through the treetops. The cable car ride is included on a one-way basis (up to Genting); the return journey descends by road in your private vehicle.

Free Time at Genting

At the top, you are free to explore Genting Highlands at your own pace — browse the vast indoor entertainment complex at Resorts World Genting, shop at designer and factory outlet stores, enjoy a variety of Indian, Chinese, Malay, and international cuisine, or simply take in the cool mountain air and panoramic views. Optional activities at an additional cost include Genting SkyWorlds theme park, Chin Swee Caves Temple, and various arcade and entertainment venues. Later, enjoy a scenic drive back to Kuala Lumpur, arriving at your hotel in the early evening.

Day 4

Checkout & Departure Transfer to KLIA

Your final morning in Kuala Lumpur arrives. After breakfast at the hotel, spend any remaining time for last-minute packing, a final walk in the neighbourhood, or a quick browse of local shops near the hotel. At 12:00 noon, you will check out of the hotel and your GujjuTours representative will arrange a timely private transfer directly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for your departure flight — arriving at least 3 hours before your scheduled international flight time.
