Dambulla — Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Dambulla / Kandy

Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, check out and leave for Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route at the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, located 5.5 km west of Kandy at an altitude of 460 metres. Covering 147 acres with a history dating back to 1371 and formal establishment in 1843 under British rule, the garden is home to more than 4,000 plant species, including orchids, medicinal plants and palm trees.

Nuwara Eliya / Bentota

Bentota
After breakfast, begin a sightseeing tour of Bentota with a boat ride on the Madu River, the second-largest wetland in Sri Lanka, spread across 62 islands and declared a Ramsar-listed World Heritage Site in 2003.
