The ski hotel is in a quiet location on the outskirts of the town centre, 900 m or 20 minutes on foot from the beautiful Traunsee Lake. Within a 10-minute walk, guests can reach the centre of Altmünster. In winter, the ski bus stops right outside the house and takes 20 minutes to reach the Feuerkogel ski area. An outdoor pool is 900 m away. This family-run, air-conditioned ski hotel offers modern facilities, was opened in 1967 and has 29 rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, cloakroom, currency exchange and lift access to the upper floors. Guests can enjoy a drink at the café and bar, and dine in the dining room. For a fee there is wireless Internet access available and guests can make use of the room and laundry services. There is a car park for those arriving by car. For a fee guests can hire bicycles. The establishment also offers 2 wonderful sun terraces and a playground. All rooms are en suite and feature a shower, bath and hairdryer, as well as a double or king-size bed, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and Internet access. Additional amenities include a safe, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and an ironing set. Further features include individually regulated air conditioning and heating, and a balcony or terrace. For a fee there are outdoor swimming facilities, golf courses and horse riding available in the immediate vicinity. The ski hotel offers a sauna, a steam room, massage and spa treatments and biking (for a fee). The establishment also has and entertainment programme for children. Guests are served breakfast each morning. Lunch and dinner can be taken à la carte or selected from a set menu.
