Located 1790 metres above sea level in Kaltenbach, Berggasthof Platzlalm is situated on ski slopes in the Ski Optimal Hochzillertal Ski Region. A sauna and large relaxation area with reclining deckchairs are available at the hotel.All rooms have under-floor heating, a seating area and a flat-screen satellite TV. A private bathroom is also included. High ceilings, solid wood furniture, wood floors and wall paneling are characteristic features of the rooms.Berggasthof Platzlalm’s restaurant, bar and dining area are all rustically furnished. A large tiled stove, wood-burning fireplace and flat-screen TV are also featured. The huge terrace provides lots of seating area and panoramic views of the surrounding Alpine landscape. Guests can relax in one of the terrace’s hammocks or large bean bags.A children’s playground and ski storage room are also on the property.A paragliding centre is 3 km away. Kaltenbach village centre is 12 km away. In winter the hotel can only be reached with skis. Innsbruck is 35 km away. Please note that in winter the property can only be reached with the Ski Optimal Hochzillertal Cable Car. Lift passes can be purchased at the valley lift station. Please inform the ticket sales staff about your arrival beforehand. Guests are then transported from the Mountain Station to the hotel via a snowmobile by hotel-staff.Cable car ascents are free of charge from 15.00 to 16.00. The cable car stops operating at 16:00. Arrival at Berggasthof Platzlalm is not possible after this.If guests arrive in the valley before 09:00, hotel-staff can pick them up from there with the snowmobile. Snowmobile use is not permitted between 09:00 and 16:00.Cable car descents are free of charge before 10:00.
