HI-Athabasca Falls is situated in Jasper, within 33 km of Jasper SkyTram and 34 km of Marmot Basin Ski Area. That said, its a great place. A large common lodge with fireplace and lounge, friendly and personable staff, and a great location. We have purified drinking water, full cooking facilities, refrigerator, stoves and electricity.HI Athabasca is well-suited for groups. It is the largest of the four wilderness hostels in Jasper National Park.Located next to the powerful Athabasca Falls, awesome views, spectacular hiking and a wonderful off-the-beaten path experience. The Fryatt Valley and Athabasca Pass are easily accessed from the hostel offering cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking opportunities.
